Technical culture festival Split: workshop “Little engineers” #2

As part of the Technical Culture Festival in Split “Tehnifest” this year the City of Dubrovnik Association of Technical Culture will also participate, whose secretary Tomo Sjekavica will hold two “Little Engineers” workshops and an Arduino workshop.
The “Little Engineers” workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 8:50 a.m. and on Thursday, November 16 at 9:40 a.m. On it, participants will develop motor skills and creativity through the construction of various motorized models: birds, cars, fish, dinosaurs, satellites, airplanes, etc.
The Arduino workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 2 p.m. Workshop participants will get to know computer development processes and the background logic of these processes, see the broader picture of automatic and robotic systems, use a computer for research, documentation, design, monitoring, prediction and evaluation of results, and independently design programs in the Arduino IDE software.
In cooperation with member associations, visiting communities of technical culture and Split elementary school Sućidar, the City of Split Association of Technical Culture of organizes the Technical Culture Festival “Tehnifest 2023”. The two-day event will be held in the form of technical activity workshops for students on November 15 and 16, in the premises of the Sućidar Elementary School. The participation of more than 250 students of that school is expected, for which there will be modeling and electrical engineering workshops, rocket modeling, robotics, 3D pencil drawing, mechanics, electronics and electrical engineering, and “Arduino” workshops. In addition, a lecture on astronomy will be held for the students, and – if the weather conditions allow – an astronomical observation of the sky with a telescope. The main goals of this manifestation are to popularize the programs of technical culture communities and member associations, and to encourage the youngest to get involved in some of the numerous technical activities that are offered to create free time, but which can also offer additional education.
