Everyday activitity knowledge acquisition and execution in an interactive learning environment

We introduce an interactive learning platform that aims at enabling researchers around the world to acquire relevant knowledge for robotic task execution that help them execute manipulation tasks, which can be performed in simulation environments. The simulation environments use the same frameworks as real robots in our laboratories but can be used from any place without the need to have an actual robot around. Additionally, the learning environment has low software requirements since it depends on jupyter notebooks and dockerized frameworks that run on our servers. With this, we want to start stronger collaborations, enable students around the world to try out our frameworks and extend them with their ideas and help researchers test their software by extending our frameworks.
After the introduction we will give two Tutorials on
1) how to acquire Web knowledge for robotic action execution and
2) how to execute manipulation tasks in the interactive learning environment.
