Coding our future at Paradox Museum Limassol

As part of the European Robotics Week, the Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) is collaborating with the Paradox Museum Limassol to present the event “Coding our Future” to our young Paradoxers.

The event will offer children the opportunity to explore the world of programming and educational robotics interactively and creatively, guided by the CCS “Coding Our Future” team.

What to Expect

The event includes 4 consecutive activities (stations), each lasting 30 minutes.
Each activity is designed for groups of 8 children (Grades 3 to 6).

The young explorers will:

• Create music using fruit and computers
  With Makey Makey devices, computers, and simple materials, children will create their own music.

• Drive robots on a track
  Using tablets, they will navigate Makeblock robotic vehicles through obstacle courses.

• Create with Micro:bit
  An introduction to programming through the Micro:bit microcontroller, ideal for creative and tech projects.

• Experience new technologies
  Parallel activities featuring innovative devices and robots: a robotic arm that draws, VR headsets, and more.

Duration: 2 hours robotics activities + 60’ museum visit
